Although it’s more often a condition associated with oily hair, people with dry hair get dandruff, too. Common dandruff is simply a layer of skin shedding from your scalp. Take egg white separately and whip it thoroughly. Add 1 tbsp of water to egg yolk and whip it till turns to be a creamy mixture. Now mix both egg white and yolk together. With the help of warm water wet your hair. Make sure that you remove excessive moisture from your hair. With the help of your fingertips apply the egg mixture on your scalp. Gently massage your scalp until the froth is formed. Rinse your hair thoroughly with cold water. This is one of the best home remedies for dry hair.
Epsom Salt. Need a hot oil treatment? Add three tablespoons of Epsom Salt to three tablespoons of your regular condition. Heat this concoction up in the microwave for about thirty seconds or until warm. Then work it into your hair. Let it sit for twenty minutes. Rinse with warm water. The magnesium sulfate in Epsom Salt will revitalize your hair.

Get glossy with a water soluble fine serum - look for cyclomethicone on the label. As these glossiers are the best in restoring shine and balancing hair.

Olive Oil

The wonder product that is good for your inside and outside. Massage it into excessively dry skin such as your heels, elbows, knees and cuticles. Mix some into warm (not hot) bath water. Massage it into dry hair and scalp. Use it as a facial moisturizer or after a shower or bath as a body moisturizer. For an exfoliating treatment, mix two parts brown sugar with one part olive oil. Rub gently into your skin before a shower. These are the effective home remedies for dry hair.
